Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance in the Boston area is seeking a part-time Vascular Surgeon to join our award-winning public healthcare system. The role includes 0.5 FTE with 16 hours of patient care weekly and 4 hours of asynchronous administrative time, plus a 1:3 call schedule.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional outpatient care, use EPIC, and participate in teaching medical students and residents with HMS appointment eligibility; CHA values teamwork and respect within a diverse

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Board certification in Vascular Surgery.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills required.
• Team-oriented and approachable patient care provider.
• Experience in an academic safety net system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient vascular care to adult patients.
• Ensure documentation and care within the EPIC electronic medical record.
• Teach medical students and residents; HMS appointment (Instructor/Asst/Assoc Professor) as per HMS criteria.
• Participate in call schedule (approximately 1:3).
• Work 0.5 FTE: 16 hours of patient care per week plus 4 hours of asynchronous admin time.

Cambridge Health Alliance is recruiting a part-time Vascular Surgeon to join our award-winning public healthcare system in Boston's metro north communities. CHA provides innovative primary, specialty and emergency care to our diverse patient population through an established network of outpatient clinics and two full service hospitals.

The position:

• Part-time vascular surgeon opportunity in Cambridge, Massachusetts

• 0.5 FTE which includes 16 hours of patient care per week plus 4 hours of asynchronous clinical admin time

• Call is approximately 1:3

• Provide exceptional outpatient care to our adult population

• EPIC electronic medical record

• Teach medical students and residents. CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS). Position carries a HMS appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities

CURRENT: CHA offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance, 403b with company match, CME time and dollars. Guaranteed base salary ranges from $227,000 to $245,500 (based on 0.5 FTE).
