Job summary

The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV, seeks a qualified vascular surgeon to join its team.

You will perform open and endovascular aneurysm repairs, dialysis access procedures, diagnostic and interventional angiography, and lower-extremity bypass surgeries while supervising and teaching surgical residents. You will provide consultations in outpatient and inpatient settings, participate in committees, and cover on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must have MD/DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Completed residency in an ACGME/AOA accredited program.
• Board certification preferred for faculty/academic roles.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Open and endovascular AAA surgical repair.
• Dialysis access procedures.
• Diagnostic and interventional angiography.
• Lower extremity bypass.
• Supervision and teaching of surgical residents.
• Provide consultation in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Initial evaluation and admission of patients as needed.
• Participation in committees and on-call duties as required.
