Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in vascular surgery.
• Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NPI number issued.
• Active DEA license.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care with clinic coverage, surgical coverage, and on-call 24/7 (including weekdays, weekends, holidays).
• Provide remote and onsite consultations and any required rounding related to patient care.
• Document pre‑operative notes, operative reports, post‑operative reports, and outpatient clinic notes.
• Provide all vascular surgical services under attending supervision per VA guidelines.
• Follow established medication policies and procedures.
• Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with the next care setting.

Education

Board-certified/board-eligible in vascular surgery
