Aya Locums is seeking a locum surgery vascular physician in Las Cruces, NM. This assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 24-hour on-call coverage and a standard 24-hour shift from 07:00 to 07:00. Start date is 10-26-26, at an acute care hospital.

Salary ranges from $2700 to $3000 per day, depending on experience and facility needs. This role offers comprehensive locum tenens support and licensing assistance.

Qualificações

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME or AOA surgical residency completed.
• Board certification in surgery (ABS).

Responsabilidades

• Perform a range of surgeries including appendectomies, hernia repairs, gallbladder removals, emergency surgeries, and upper and lower endoscopies.
• Provide preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Be on-call for emergency surgeries, including trauma cases.
• Educate patients about postoperative care and follow-up requirements.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
