Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join the surgical program in Lewiston, Maine. The role focuses on providing comprehensive vascular care, including open and endovascular procedures, in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of accredited Vascular Surgery residency or fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maine.
• DEA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of vascular disease.
• Perform open and endovascular procedures in a hospital-based surgical setting.
• Evaluate and manage inpatient vascular consultations.
• Participate in call coverage and vascular service line development.
• Collaborate with cardiology, nephrology, wound care, and critical care services.
