Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required. Non-citizens may be appointed only when qualified citizens cannot be recruited.
• MD degree from an approved school; unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Residency training in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility/certification.
• Board certification in vascular surgery preferred for faculty status.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, cath lab, and operative settings.
• Maintain professional competency and deliver quality vascular care.
• Participate in program planning, policies, and standards for delivery of care.
• Manage patient workload and support education of staff and trainees.
• Document all clinical encounters consistent with guidelines.
