Job summary

UNC Health is seeking an experienced Internal Medicine physician to join Rex Vascular Physicians & APPs in Raleigh, NC. This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality medical care and coordinating multidisciplinary services for vascular patients.

The ideal candidate is board certified in Internal Medicine, holds a North Carolina medical license, and has DEA and BLS (ACLS preferred). Hospitalist experience is preferred and strong clinical judgment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional medical services to patients.
• Exercises independent professional judgment in the care and treatment of patients.
• Orders and prescribes medical treatment, diagnostic testing, nursing care and other health and medical services; prescribes pharmaceuticals.
• Consults and counsels with patients and families; provides health education.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists to ensure multidisciplinary care.
• Documents care in medical records and codes for billing.
• Supervises other medical professionals.
• Adheres to medical ethics.
