Intermountain Health Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, seeks a vascular-focused sonographer to perform ultrasound exams, coordinate scheduling, and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS, with a preferred Bachelor's degree. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with weekend/holiday/on-call requirements, and opportunities to mentor staff and participate in education.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification required.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and will be verified.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and prioritize exams and coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Identify patient needs and communicate care plans with physicians and caregivers.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area; coordinate repairs or supplies as needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in educational opportunities.
