Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment and perform a broad range of diagnostic exams across vascular and other modalities. You will communicate findings to radiologists and support the patient and health care team throughout the examination process.

The role requires ARDMS certification with RVT and BLS, with progression through a clinical ladder and relocation/commitment bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program meeting registry/certification eligibility.
• ARDMS within 18 months of hire for Level I/II.
• Two years' experience as a Sonographer for Level II, more for Level III.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and perform exams.
• Communicate results to Radiologist and care team.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Assist in training ultrasound students and staff.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and exam records.
