Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC seeks an ultrasound sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including carotid, AAA, venous and arterial studies, and pre-op mapping. You will communicate findings, assist in training, and contribute to department operations.

Eligible for a clinical ladder and a relocation/commitment bonus program. ARDMS certification and BLS are required. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARDMS certification within 18 months of hire.
• ARDMS RVT certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Analyzes sonograms, synthesizes information, and communicates findings to Radiologist.
• Assists with daily operations of the ultrasound department and maintains equipment.
