Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians in Bluffton, SC, is seeking a PRN Vascular Sonographer to join our outpatient vascular surgery team. You will perform high-quality non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies in collaboration with vascular surgeons, delivering accurate images and patient-centered care in a rewarding coastal community.

Requires minimum 2 years of diagnostic medical sonography, current RVT/RVS/RT(VS) certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Diagnostic Medical Sonography experience.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RT(VS) certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex imaging, Doppler studies, 2D vascular imaging, and ABI testing.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation.
• Communicate urgent results when appropriate and maintain thorough documentation.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education during examinations.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
