Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams with emphasis on the lower extremities. You will provide high-quality imaging and exceptional patient experience in a downtown clinic setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or vascular program, RVT/RVS/RPhS credentials (or eligibility within 90 days), and familiarity with venous insufficiency and duplex studies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT/RVS or RPhS credential, or eligibility to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality images.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations with accuracy and quality.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic or vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR to document studies, manage images, and support workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge across OB/GYN and abdominal modalities.

Position Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details

• Location: Downtown Indianapolis clinic
• Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (day shift)
• Compensation: $37-$47hr based on experience and qualifications
• Paid Training

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required.
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.
