Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform detailed vascular ultrasound studies focused on the lower extremities, ensuring an excellent patient experience across Columbia, Annapolis, Baltimore, Timonium, and Pikesville clinics. The role requires completing accredited sonography training, RVT/RVS/RPhS credentials or eligible, and experience with venous insufficiency and mapping.

Work is full-time, Monday–Friday, with hourly compensation and benefits including health insurance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT/RVS/RPhS credential or eligibility within 90 days.
• Experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused care environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping, and duplex exams.
• Conduct additional vascular imaging such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR tests as applicable.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations with accuracy and quality.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic or vascular imaging setting.
• Document studies and manage images using PACS and EMR systems.

Position Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details

• Location: Flexible to work in our Columbia, Annapolis, Baltimore, Timonium, and Pikesville clinic locations
• Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday
• Compensation: $41-$48hr based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required
