Job summary

The Vascular Care Group is seeking a licensed ultrasound technologist to support vascular patients across Framingham and Wellesley locations. You will perform diagnostic sonography and generate reports for providers while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have an ultrasound program credential, RVT/RVS preferred, and at least two years of experience with strong customer service skills. Local travel between sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ultrasound program or formal training program.
• RVT or RVS preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years ultrasound technologist experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations following safety protocols.
• Conduct patient clinical assessment and perform diagnostic sonography ordered by supervising physician.
• Apply professional judgment and critical thinking to safely perform procedures.
• Capture accurate anatomical, pathological, and clinical findings in images.
• Acquire additional ultrasound imaging as needed for optimum results.
• Identify and document limitations to the examination.
• Adhere to IAC accreditation requirements and quality assurance reviews.
• Review images, synthesize results, and prepare preliminary reports for providers.
• Ensure reports are complete with billing requirements.
• Perform quality control and preventive maintenance for ultrasound equipment.
• Assist with daily operation of the sonography facility.
• Prioritize work based on workflow fluctuations.
• Complete ad hoc projects as needed.
