Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Vascular Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in Newton Lower Falls, MA. The role requires 1 year of vascular technologist experience, ARDMS RVT preferred, and BLS certification. 36 hours per week with 9-hour days, travel employment.

Responsibilities include conducting vascular exams, using Doppler, documenting findings, and coordinating with care teams. State licensure may be required; equipment calibration and infection control are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Vascular Technologist.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARDMS RVT or equivalent certification preferred; state licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, arterial, venous and abdominal studies.
• Utilize Doppler technology to assess blood flow and identify vascular conditions.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during exams.
• Document normal and abnormal findings for physician interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and calibrate ultrasound machines.
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other care team members.
• Support a clean and organized working environment.
