Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to assist the vascular team with diagnostic imaging and educational outreach within the vascular center.

You will interact with patients, physicians and dialysis facilities as part of community programs and support other educational initiatives. The role covers vascular ultrasound procedures, patient safety, and collaboration with radiologists in various imaging settings.

Qualifications

• Must perform vascular ultrasound procedures and related imaging.
• Must adhere to patient safety and radiation safety protocols.
• ARDMS/RVT certification required or RVT registry certification preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in interventional radiology or related area.
• ACLS certification required or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Performs ultrasound imaging and related procedures in all areas of ultrasound.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Maintains and cleans imaging equipment and organizes records.
