Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current ARDMS or CCI certification or eligible and must pass within one year.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Valid driver’s license.
• BLS or ACLS certification, to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiogram procedures and educate patients on the process.
• Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently and follow protocols.
• Complete administrative and clinical tasks to support offices.
• Acquire echocardiographic measurements and create digital preliminary reports.
• Verbally communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician.
• Ensure data accuracy for clinical reports, demographics and billing.
• Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for immediate use.
• Maintain records and reports on equipment and procedures.
