Qualifications

  • NM Medical Imaging licensure is required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS certification within one year of hire.
  • Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience.
  • Proven ability to document and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced vascular examinations independently with complex arterial/venous studies.
  • Identify and document vascular abnormalities with complete diagnostic information.
  • Apply expert knowledge of vascular anatomy and ultrasound principles.
  • Conduct routine inpatient/outpatient exams and assist with OR cases.
  • Enter exam charges in EHR and initiate reports in PACS.
  • Maintain room/equipment infection-control and patient safety protocols.
  • Communicate results with physicians and nursing units.
  • Participate in professional development and lab committees.
  • Mentor new staff and students; participate in candidate interviews.
  • Take part in monthly call rotations and research protocols when applicable.
