Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is seeking a Vascular Sonographer/Technologist to perform vascular ultrasound exams and assist during vein procedures. You will ensure high-quality imaging and effective communication with patients and the health care team.

Requirements include an allied health associate degree (CAAHEP-accredited) and 2+ years as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, with 2-4 years vascular experience preferred. On-site position with hourly pay, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Associate Degree from a two-year allied health education program accredited by CAAHEP.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• 2-4 years of experience in Vascular Sonography desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vascular ultrasound procedures and assist during vein procedures.
• Produce vascular scans with quality diagnostic imaging (2D, Duplex, ABI and Doppler).
• Provide preliminary findings summaries to Radiologist and report abnormalities as needed.
• Maintain patient safety, care, and communication with patients and health care team.
