Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform focused vascular ultrasound examinations on the lower extremities with emphasis on patient experience. You will conduct thorough vascular assessments and ensure high-quality imaging in a dedicated vein clinic environment.

Located in New Jersey, the role includes weekday scheduling, around 35 hours per week, and a competitive hourly pay range with paid training to support skill development within a growing outpatient vascular network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT/RVS/RPhS credential or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days.
• Experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong communication in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency and reflux.
• Conduct venous mapping and venous duplex studies, and other vascular imaging when applicable.
• Document ultrasound examinations and manage images with PACS and EMR.
• Support vein clinic workflow and patient care in vascular imaging settings.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge including OB/GYN and abdominal as needed.

Position Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details

• Location: Trenton & Marlton clinics
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (about 35 hours per week)
• Compensation: $40-$50/hr based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required.
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.
