Job summary

USA Clinics Group, based in the Tinton Falls clinic, seeks a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound exams focused on the lower extremities and deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited vascular sonography program and current RVT/RVS/RPhS credentials or eligibility within 90 days; experience with venous imaging preferred and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential or eligible within 90 days.
• Experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping, and duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound exams and obtain high-quality images.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies, including venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping, and duplex exams.
• Conduct additional vascular imaging as applicable (carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, PVR).
• Independently document and manage ultrasound examinations with accuracy and quality.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic or vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR to document studies and support workflow.

Position Summary:

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details:

• Location: Tinton Falls clinic
• Schedule: Monday & Wednesday (830-4pm)
• Compensation: $38-$48/hr based on experience and qualifications
• Paid Training

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required
