Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform thorough vascular ultrasound examinations focused on the lower extremities, ensuring an exceptional patient experience. You will work in a vein clinic or vascular imaging setting, conducting studies and documenting findings with accuracy and care.

Locations include Plainfield, Frankfort, Naperville, Oakbrook, and Archer Ave clinics. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers $42–$49/hr based on experience, plus benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential, or eligible to obtain certification within 90 days.
• Demonstrated experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused healthcare approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing when applicable.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge including OB/GYN and abdominal modalities when appropriate.

Position Summary:

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details:

• Location: Plainfield, Frankfort, Naperville, Oakbrook, and Archer Ave clinics


• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday


• Compensation: $42-$49/hr based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations


• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing


• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards

Requirements:

• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required


• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred


• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required


• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required
