Job summary

USA Clinics Group in St. Louis is seeking a qualified Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound exams of the lower extremities while ensuring excellent patient experience.

Must hold RVT/RVS/RPhS or be eligible within 90 days; competitive pay is $45-$54/hr with fully paid training and $2000 bonuses after training and after 9 months. Join a fast-growing, mission-driven team and make an impact in patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential, or eligibility to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, and venous duplex exams.
• Conduct carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR tests when applicable.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound exams with accuracy and quality.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic or vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR to document studies and manage images.

Position Summary: As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details:

• Location: St. Louis
• Schedule: Every Monday and Tuesday; every other Wednesday
• Compensation: $45-$54hr based on experience and qualifications
• $2000 bonus 90 days after training
• $2000 bonus after 9 months employment
• Fully paid training

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required
