Job summary

USA Vein Clinics is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to deliver high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system, with emphasis on the lower extremities. You will perform thorough assessments and ensure an exceptional patient experience across our clinic network.

Location options include Plainfield, Frankfort, Naperville, Oakbrook, and Archer Ave; this full-time role offers competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits as part of a patient-first vascular team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program (required).
• Current RVT/RVS/RPhS credential or eligibility to obtain within 90 days (required).
• Experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images (required).

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge including OB/GYN and abdominal where appropriate.

Position Summary:

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details:

Location: Plainfield, Frankfort, Naperville, Oakbrook, and Archer Ave clinics

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Compensation: $42-$49/hr based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program,required.

• CurrentRVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer)credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days isrequired.
• Demonstrated experience performingvenous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images,required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment,required.
