Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Lynn, MA is hiring a Vascular Sonographer to perform thorough vascular ultrasound assessments, primarily of the lower extremities, ensuring an excellent patient experience. The role requires full-time availability with travel during initial training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT/RVS/RPhS credential or eligibility to obtain within 90 days.
• Preferred: experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping, and venous duplex studies.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality images.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Conduct additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations with accuracy and quality.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic or vascular imaging environment.
• Use PACS and EMR to document studies and manage images.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge including OB/GYN and abdominal modalities when appropriate.

Position Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details

Location: Lynn & West Roxbury, MA

Schedule: Full-Time - Mon/Wed/Fri in Lynn & Tues/Thurs in West Roxbury.

Must be able to travel train, out of state, for the first 2+ weeks.

Compensation: $40-$47/hr based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required.
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.
