Job summary

Catalyst MedTech is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to join Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS). The role involves performing comprehensive vascular studies, communicating with patients and physicians, and contributing to accreditation processes.

You will travel to client locations and operate ultrasound equipment in a professional, sterile environment. Ideal candidates have an accredited ultrasound program, active RVT or RVS credentials, and at least two years of vascular imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) certification.
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience.
• Proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular exams following established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure optimal imaging and patient experience.
• Obtain patient history and present key findings to the interpreting physician.
• Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
• Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions.
• Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives.

Sonographers must travel in all weather conditions.Physical Demands:Ability to stand for periods of time.Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Occupational Exposure:Performance of clinical job duties has a reasonable anticipated risk factor of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other infectious materials.
