Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at ProMedica's Toledo Hospital provides patient-centered care as part of a collaborative health care team. This part-time position includes 24 weekly hours and days shifts, with a sign-on bonus of $10,000.

As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will assess needs, communicate with patients and families, and work with the health care team to implement and evaluate care plans while striving to improve outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
• Coordinate the patient’s plan of care with patients, families and the health care team through open communication and mutual respect.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve patient and staff satisfaction.
