Job summary

StrideCare in Dallas is seeking a Radiology Technologist (R.T.) to perform x-ray procedures in operating and special procedure rooms, process images, and ensure proper equipment calibration under minimal supervision. Responsibilities include preparing supplies, maintaining aseptic technique, monitoring equipment, documenting exposures, and supporting staff and physicians.

Requires RT certification, fluoroscopy permit, CPR, and a high school diploma with graduation from an approved radiologic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• R.T. Certification and Fluoroscopy Permit required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble supplies and positioning aids per physician preference cards.
• Test and monitor radiology equipment for proper function.
• Ensure all personnel are shielded before activating x-ray.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures.
• Remain available during procedures for timely support.
• Follow federal/state regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Document radiation exposure in patient records.
• Assist with inventory control and suite turnover/cleaning.
• Provide support to staff, physicians, and visitors using strong guest relations.
• Serve as a resource to other staff members.
• Follow all infection control and OSHA guidelines, including PPE use.
• Participate in staff education, QI activities, and staff meetings.
• Maintain required certifications and assist in emergencies.
• Support new employee/student orientation and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: The Radiology Technologist (R.T.), under minimal supervision, performs a variety of duties as a member of the surgical team. The R.T. conducts x-ray procedures in the operating and special procedure rooms, processes images, and ensures proper equipment calibration. They may assist in preparing supplies/equipment for cases and contribute to case prep for the following day.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assemble supplies and positioning aids per physician preference cards.

• Ensure all personnel are shielded before activating x-ray.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures.
• Remain available during procedures for timely support.
