Filesusr is seeking a Physician Assistant in Florida to work under the direction of a licensed physician. The role involves direct patient care, coordinating post‑operative plans, and assisting surgeons with intraoperative procedures while ensuring adherence to care standards and regulatory requirements.

Candidates must have a CAHEAP-approved PA program, Florida PA licensure, DEA eligibility, and BLS certification.

Formación

• Graduate from a Physician Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.
• Current FL PA Licensure required.
• DEA eligible required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates patients with physician and finishes communication with patient once physician has left the room.
• Ensures post-op patients receive the necessary medications and follow up.
• Advise patients during their post-op period.
• Assist physician with the flow of the office to minimize patient wait times and communicate with staff daily.
• Write prescriptions for medications and diagnostic tests; authorize new and refill prescriptions.
• Write letters of medical necessity.
• Sign off on patients' medical results and advise physicians of abnormalities.
• Surgical Assist in operating room.
