Palm Careers is seeking an experienced vascular surgery physician assistant or nurse practitioner for a busy vascular surgery department near Daytona Beach, FL. The role features 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with 80% OR time and only one weekend of call per month.

You will work with a tight-knit team of three surgeons and three PAs, performing heavy OR first-assist, rounds, and consults across ICU, stepdown, and floor settings.

Formación

• Two years of vascular surgery experience required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s PA degree from an ARC-PA accredited program.

Responsabilidades

• Heavy operating room first-assist duties in vascular cases.
• Perioperative care including rounds, admissions, discharges and consults.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons; provide care across ICU, stepdown and surgical floors.

Heavy Operating Room First Assisting, some floor rounds, and consults.

Growing vascular surgery practice seeking hard-working Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to add to our close-knit team of 3 surgeons and 3 PA’s. We are looking for a passionate, innovative, team-focused, and caring person to help us expand our vascular service line.

You would provide perioperative care to vascular surgery patients in the ICU, stepdown, and regular surgical floor settings in close collaboration with the surgeons. This includes daily hospital rounds, admission H&Ps, discharges, and consults. PA’s first-assist in all vascular surgical cases.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Physician Assistant Degree from a program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission for Physician Assistant Programs (ARC-PA)

Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in vascular surgery
