Job summary

Vascular Institute of the Rockies in Denver, CO is seeking a dedicated EMT/Paramedic to join our fast-paced vascular practice on a full-time basis. You will room patients, take vital signs, obtain ECGs, document histories, assist with in-office procedures, and coordinate records and imaging for efficient care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to sterile technique, with training available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Paramedic/EMT experience required; certification preferred.
• Experience in surgery, orthopedics, vascular surgery or procedural settings strongly preferred.
• Comfort with patient rooming, vital signs, ECGs, documentation and clinical follow-through.
• Experience with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks) required; MS Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with check-in, scheduling, phone coverage and other patient support duties.
• Room patients, obtain vitals and ECGs, document patient history and visit details.
• Support wound care, in-office procedures and coordination of records and imaging.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist providers and nurses with procedures.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to safety and privacy standards.
