Job summary

Community Health Network seeks an OR Specialty Coordinator CSFA float to support vascular surgery across Community locations in Indianapolis, IN. You will scrub, assist circulating, and help set up and break down procedures, while coordinating instruments and supplies for the OR team.

As a CSFA, you will coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff, ensuring smooth case flow. Travel to sites within CHNw is required; prior OR experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical First Assist from NBSTSA required.
• Surgical Technology program from CAAHEP/ABHES or NCCT-accredited with GED/high school diploma; associate degree required.
• Military-trained surgical technologists must provide DD214 with program details.
• 1 year of operating room experience required.
• Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills required.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask with high responsibility and responsiveness.
• Takes direction well but is self-directed and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, assist scrubbing and circulating; set up and break down surgical procedures.
• Assist vascular surgery at all Community locations.
• Pulling and putting away instruments, supplies, and equipment; perform environmental service duties as needed.
• Coordinate with surgeons and OR staff to meet specialty needs and schedules.
