Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland is offering an RN Surgery Resident position in the Vascular OR. The role supports development in circulating and scrub nurse responsibilities within a premier vascular surgery program.

You will work days with call, 6:30am–3:00pm or 6:30am–7:00pm, and complete a 6-month orientation before shift assignments. A strong clinical foundation and BLS are required for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current state licensure as an RN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on surgery core learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity, preferences, resources).
• Respond to data indicating risk to patient health and act to correct or prevent risk.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely.
• Document in patients' medical records.
