Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an RN Surgery Resident for General Surgery at our Main Campus in Cleveland. This full-time day shift role supports a dynamic OR team, with a comprehensive perioperative orientation and ongoing education.

Competenze

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current RN license in the state.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
New graduate or less than one year RN experience, or transition from non-inpatient to acute care clinical inpatient setting.

Mansioni

Prepare and support patients before surgery.
Maintain a safe sterile environment and assist during procedures.
Advocate for patients under anesthesia and provide education to patients and families.
Document in patients' medical records.
Participate in residency core curriculum and ongoing education.
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Adjust priorities based on acuity, preferences, and resource availability.
