Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an advanced practice provider for a busy vascular neurosurgery service. You will join a team of neurosurgeons and APPs supporting interventional stroke care and cranial neurosurgery in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors in an accredited PA program.
• National Board Certification required.
• 3–5 years neurosurgical clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hospital rounds and surgical support.
• Take patient histories and perform physicals; document in EMR.
• Evaluate and treat neurosurgery patients to optimize outcomes.
• Write progress notes and prepare patient workups and summaries.
• Develop care plans to minimize complications and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate pre-op labs, clearances and testing before surgery.
• Assist with postoperative hospital and clinic follow-ups.
