Advocate Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for the WFBMG University Group Practice: WFBMC Main - Cardiology in Winston-Salem, NC to deliver patient-focused care within a collaborative team.

The position requires graduation from an accredited PA program with NCCPA certification, a state medical license, and a Master’s degree is preferred; it offers opportunities to participate in research and to precept students, with a full-time 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Current applicable state Medical Board Medical License and NCCPA certification.

Responsabilités

• Determine patient care plans using medical decision-making.
• Collaborate with medical team for team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, and explain them to patients.
• Perform departmental procedural skills per guidelines.
• Opportunity to participate in basic science and clinical research projects.
• Potential to precept students or medical learners.
