Job summary

Vascular Centers of America in Chicago, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our vascular center team. This full-time role supports physicians during exams, administers EKGs, draws blood, prepares exam rooms, and maintains accurate patient records.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, 40 hours per week. Requirements include 2+ years MA experience, phlebotomy preferred, and certification from an accredited MA program preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required.
• Phlebotomy: 2 years preferred.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Vascular or specialty clinic experience preferred.
• Experience with vitals, blood draws, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients professionally.
• Obtain vitals and medical history.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Perform EKGs, blood draws, and medication administration.
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff for smooth workflow.
• Front desk responsibilities when needed.
