Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• 1–4 years of experience as a general radiologic technologist preferred.
• Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees.
• Willing to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and equipment to conduct radiologic examinations following safety protocols.
• Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations as ordered by the supervising physician.
• Operate radiographic equipment including surgical and portable devices.
• Identify anatomical orientation and ensure proper file identification for images.
• Apply independent judgment to capture accurate anatomical and clinical conditions in images.
• Review examinations and prepare preliminary findings.
• Assist as surgical (scrub) technician during procedures as needed.
• Perform quality control and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Support data collection and entry in databases as required.
• Adhere to Standards of Care, facility policies, and HIPAA regulations.
