Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in radiography, radiologic technology, or related field preferred.
• ARRT certification required.
• 1–4 years of experience as a general radiologic technologist preferred.
• Ability to communicate with patients and staff; local/regional assignments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and equipment for radiologic examinations following safety protocols.
• Conduct clinical assessment and perform diagnostic exams per physician orders.
• Operate radiographic equipment including surgical and portable units.
• Identify anatomy on images and ensure proper file identification.
• Document exam limitations and prepare preliminary findings.
• Assist as scrub tech in procedures when needed.
• Perform quality control and preventative maintenance for equipment.
• Support data entry and documentation in databases as required.
• Adhere to Standards of Care, HIPAA, and ARRT ethics.
