Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform vascular imaging and testing. The technologist will use duplex and Doppler techniques, deliver preliminary findings, and work with physicians as needed. The role requires independent function and strong patient interaction.

Minimum qualification includes an associate degree or equivalent in ultrasound, with RVT/RVS credentials or eligibility. Salary is hourly, with full benefits, and potential rotation to North Adams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in ultrasound or graduate from an accredited clinical ultrasound program.
• One year experience in dedicated vascular lab, or three years in general ultrasound.
• Must be RVT (RVT through ARMDS) or RVS through CCI or eligible to sit for either registry exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular imaging and mechanical testing on patients.
• Utilize duplex and Doppler imaging techniques for scans.
• Provide preliminary findings to interpreting physician.
• Work independently and consult with physicians for important findings.
• Ensure patient welfare during outpatient visits or inpatient testing.
