Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA, seeks a Vascular Technologist to perform duplex and Doppler vascular imaging and contribute to patient care in an outpatient facility. The role requires independent work, accurate preliminary findings, and collaboration with physicians.

A strong vascular imaging background and RVT or RVS certification is expected, with 1 year vascular lab experience preferred. Full-time, 40 hours/week, daytime shift with possible rotation to North Adams; comprehensive

Qualifications

• One year experience in dedicated vascular lab, or three years full-time experience in general ultrasound.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, or graduate of an accredited clinical ultrasound program.
• RVTRVS - Must be an RVT through the ARMDS, RVS through the CCI, or eligible to sit for either registry exam

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular imaging and duplex/Doppler studies.
• Provide preliminary findings to the interpreting physician.
• Work independently and consult with physicians when important findings are encountered.
• Operate HIS and CIS computers.
• Maintain equipment and assist in patient welfare during care
