Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Vascular ICU/CST with day/evening/night shifts. The RN coordinates and delivers individualized patient care, utilizing EPIC and collaborating with the health care team to optimize outcomes across all ages.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, maintaining patient advocacy and education while contributing to performance improvement and staff mentorship in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Virginia RN licensure (or eligibility) required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Life support: BLS-HCP; ACLS/PALS may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across patient ages with coordination and critical thinking.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient family education.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and orientation of new staff.

Education

Virginia RN licensure (eligible)
