Vascular Clinical Specialist - San Jose, CA (Finance)

A Day in the Life

Provide detailed technical support for peripheral products and procedures to a broad clinical base including physicians, nurses, and technicians. Support sales reps with coverage for critical cases, focusing on cases requiring technical support for safe and effective product use.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical and technical support and education to Medtronic customers in PAD treatment.
  2. Receive direction from Sales Reps and District Managers on cases and physicians needing technical support.
  3. Educate and inform about clinical results and efficacy of our portfolio.
  4. Support regional sales strategies, including inventory, technical case support, and market development activities, under guidance from sales and management.
  5. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling for last-minute technical support as needed.
  6. Support education and collaboration with CVG sales and clinical teams on peripheral products.
  7. Assist with BU activities such as training, PO collection, and inventory management.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Degree with 6+ years of experience
  • Or Associate degree with 4+ years
  • Or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in healthcare, sales support, personnel management, project management, or related fields, or 2 years of military service with honorable discharge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medical device industry.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to travel domestically over 50%.
  • Lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Mobility and interaction with computers and colleagues.
  • Work in Cath Labs and achieve vendor credentialing.
  • Wear PPE as required.
