Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Vascular Radiologic Technologist Specialist to support the Invasive Vascular Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab. You will operate interventional catheterization equipment, scrub and monitor during procedures, and assist vascular surgeons and cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and a commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and continuous learning within a leading cardiovascular services

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiology Technologist program.
• One year of Radiology “special procedures” or cardiac cath experience.
• Current Iowa Permit to Practice; BLS and ACLS or obtain within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, scrubbing, monitoring and circulation duties.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, nurses, technicians, and patients and families.
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development in invasive vascular and cardiology techniques.
