Job summary

Novant Health’s Presbyterian Medical Center seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist/RN to join the vascular team in the OR, cath lab and interventional radiology. You will deliver expert care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures, collaborating with physicians and the care team to implement and evaluate treatment plans.

Ideal candidates have RN or related credentials with 1 year of critical care or cath lab experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Education Program for RN, RTR, RRT, RCIS, RCES, EMT-P, CVT or VI.
• RN or related credential requires 1 year of Critical Care/Emergency/Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience; other credentials have defined experience prerequisites.
• If not already certified, obtain RCIS or RCES within 24 months of hire, or when minimum case volume is met.

Responsibilities

• Work in the operating room primarily on the vascular team.
• Provide care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, implement and evaluate patient care per current policies.
