Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking an RN for a 36-hour-per-week Surgical Specialties unit focused on vascular and bariatric procedures, along with general med-surg care. Expect days and rotating weekends with strong leadership and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Active RN license with GA privileges.
BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed based on specialty.

Responsibilities

Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care practices.
Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care; involve patients and families.
Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team to improve outcomes.
Adhere to safety culture and maintain accurate electronic documentation.
May float to other units to meet patient care needs; demonstrate age-appropriate care.
