Job summary

UNC Health Southern in Lumberton, NC seeks a Vascular/Thoracic Surgery PA to join our community-based practice. The role includes clinic and hospital rounds, admissions, discharges, consults, and OR assistance using EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Southern.
• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification if required by the Department.
• APP experience preferred. OR/Surgical experience preferred. Skilled with procedures such as chest tubes, ports, art lines, perm caths, and central lines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule is split with days in the clinic and in the hospital conducting rounds, admissions, discharges, consults, and OR assist.
