Job summary

UNC Health Cardiology at Lumberton is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy cardiology team that treats patients aged 16 and older. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekends or on-call requirements, and uses the EPIC EMR system.

You will see 13-16 follow-up patients per day while collaborating with one cardiologist in a supportive, provider-led setting that emphasizes high-quality patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level APRN or PA program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in NC or eligible; board certification if required.
• APP experience preferred; cardiology experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
