You will handle PIV placement with ultrasound and near infrared technologies, respond to care unit needs, and collaborate with RNs and multiple departments to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 2 years placing PIV catheters.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Insert, assess and manage vascular access devices.
• Respond to pages and coordinate with RNs and care units.
• Document data and interventions for quality outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during PIV placement and care.
• Assist in selecting appropriate VADs per protocol.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and communications.
