Job summary

Banner Health seeks a skilled Vascular Access Specialist/RRT to independently place peripheral and central lines in inpatient and outpatient settings. Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required and NBRC RRT credential with good standing.
• 4 years of clinical experience as an RRT including 1 year of PICC/CVC insertions.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform peripheral venous and arterial access and complex vascular access as needed.
• Insert and maintain PICC lines using ultrasound guidance and verify placement with imaging.
• Insert and maintain all central lines with sterile technique and document properly.
• Support quality initiatives, safety standards, and best-practice guidelines within the team.
• Provide training, orientation and patient education to staff and families.
